I offer specialised small group and one-to-one tutoring for primary school students (K-6), drawing on over a decade of experience in both teaching and tutoring. The instructional design is adaptable, focusing on enhancing your child's confidence, mastering key content areas and achieving academic goals. Lesson Options
Small Group
Children love working together. A friendly atmosphere is created to ensure that each student can confidently share their ideas, ask questions and develop confidence in their ability. Your child will receive one-to-one support and personalised feedback in a fun and engaging learning environment.
One-to-one
I offer one-to-one tutoring for K-6 students. Lessons are tailor-made to meet the specific learning needs of your child. This option is ideal for students who would like to focus on specific learning areas.
Maths and English
Does your child need help with maths or English? The 45 minute sessions are filled with learning challenges, revision activities and lots of fun. Your child will have access to curriculum based learning that helps them develop the skills they need to succeed.
You can decide whether your child needs help with maths, English or both!
My Story
Hello, I’m Rachael Brunskill, the founder of Skills Tutoring and a qualified primary school teacher with over a decade of experience. I am a member of the Australian Tutoring Association and hold a Master’s degree in Education, which I completed in 2015. My research focused on the critical skills children need to excel in the education system. I am passionate about equipping students with these essential skills.
My aim is to make learning engaging and enjoyable. By personalising lessons, I work to build students' confidence and help them achieve their full potential. I am dedicated to supporting children throughout their educational journey and find great fulfillment in guiding them towards success.

Skills Tutoring is opposite the Vinegar Hill Memorial Library in Rouse Hill Town Centre. The classroom can be found inside the Global Art centre.
